Brik and Lumi spend one whole day, from a starlit baobab roost at night to golden sunrise to sunset and back to starlight, discovering why a macaw is so brightly colored. Under the stars they meet Ruby the macaw and young Mango, weathering a sudden night storm before building The Starlit Baobab Roost. At sunrise they raise The Feather-Paint Workshop and meet Coral the flamingo.
